The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Thursday calls for up to 90% chance of rain with breeze.

Daytime highs will be reaching the 50s to 60s around the bay and on the coast, and in the 50s inland. Overnight lows are expected to be in the 40s, with some areas around the bay reaching the lower 50s.

Forecasters say unsettled weather with rain, chilly temps and gusty winds begins Thursday into the weekend. High elevation snow is also expected this weekend. A High Surf Advisory will be issued for San Francisco, Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay, and the Big Sur Coast Counties from 10 a.m. on Friday until 4 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the NWS, temps will be slightly warmer for the beginning of next week but weather conditions remain uncertain through the middle of next week.
